Production

In a constant market evolution, MTS keeps on mainly dressing again the role of producer Leader in the branch of the car Silencers and in Aftermarket sector.
The over 30 years of history and experience allow us to create a productive process able to daily increase of qualitative standards of our articles.

The MTS production process can be synthesized in 8 phases:

Analyses of the market of reference

Our Office Marketing constantly analyzes the market, with the target to seek all the car models and, in the meanwhile, to welcome all the applications of articles directly managed not by Mts that they arrive to the Office Service Clients.
The intersection of these data allows to offer more and more a wide range to our clients, decreasing the lead times and guaranteeing a quick service and highly qualified.

Detailed check of the 1st equipment product

The MTS production stages start from the analysis of the 1st equipment product that is decided to create for the Aftermarket. Monthly through this way are produced an average of 20 new articles.

In a first stage of the process, are purchased 2 original pieces of the silencer.
A first piece is filed and will be used as sample to make the tests, while a second piece is cut from technical to verify the methodology applied for the noise reduction and the form of the internal section.

   Product Research and development
Thanks to the data from original silencer analyze, the Technical Office develops a drawing which keeps more possible unchanged the substantial characteristics of the product, but that at the same time contains also some technical and performance improvements, as result of the great experience that Mts has in the branch. The continuous search and the development of the articles allow us indeed to create silencers endowed with high qualitative standard and in constant improvement.

   Creation of a sample

In the following phase the silencer drawing is turned into a sample, realized through the collaboration between the Technical Office and the Production department. Such kind of cooperation between the departments allows to constantly improve our product offering a range of excellent quality silencers.

   Noisiness and fit ability tests

After having realized the sample some tests are necessary to verify the project correctness. These particular checks are crossed in comparison to the original product and must offer equal or best results so that the silencer comes indeed homologated.
The tests consist:
- In the measure of the noise reduction (measurement of the decibels)
- In the right fit-ability of the product on the vehicle.

   Homologation

After all the needed checks for grant the respect of technical and government rules, the silencer is homologated by the competent departments (Certified by the Transports ministry). This passage is necessary for the introduction of our products in the market and also to grant the conformity and the safety as requested by the law.

   Sampling
After the homologation, all our silencers in a first time are produced in low quantities, with the target to check their real potentialities.

Mass production

Verified the real conformity of the silencer through the sampling, Mts organizes the last necessary stage of the process: the mass production. The article, homologated and concretely tested in the market, can be produced in wide range and be available for all of our clients.
